Trained as a veterinarian at Toulouse Vet School, France, and holding a PhD in Neuroscience (Pain) from University College London (UCL), Jean’s career spans medical affairs, clinical research, and real-world evidence generation across leading pharmaceutical companies, including Servier, Eli Lilly, Biogen, and most recently AstraZeneca Rare Disease. With over 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry, he has developed expertise in neurology, immunology, and rare diseases, leading cross-functional teams and shaping medical strategies to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.
Jean has a strong track record in medical strategy leadership, evidence generation, and stakeholder engagement, with a passion for transforming patient care. He has led multiple product launches and partnered with global opinion leaders and registries on several evidence generation projects, including investigator-initiated studies, patient preference research, effectiveness of risk minimisation measures, and time & motion studies.
A strong advocate for generative AI, Jean explores its potential to enhance medical affairs and real-world data applications. He is also deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), recognising its role in driving innovation and shaping the future of healthcare.
